Left 4 Dead 2 – DirectX 9
Settings: 4xMSAA, 8xAF, All options to Very High, 1920×1080
Left 4 Dead 2 provides plenty of scope for scaling with your graphics card, which is good. At these settings, things are just on the borderline of acceptable during play. The minimum is particularly bad, but you can get away with it in this game as those minimum frames are usually when your not moving around much and getting attacked by the horde. Still, these are very high settings for a pretty low card, and you should have no trouble dropping some options for some good looking big screen gaming.
Batman Arkham Asylum – DirectX 9
Settings: 0xAA, 0xAF, All options highest/on, 1920×1080, No Physx
The HIS HD 6570 Silence does very well indeed when it comes to Batman. You can run at very good frame rates, 1080p with all the in game options set to the highest. You might begin to struggle a little if you add some anti-aliasing in certain sections of the game, but for the most part it’s very playable at these settings on the HIS HD 6570 Silence. Whilst technically the 6570 beats the GTS 430, in game there is little to tell the difference between the two. The older card, every now and then you can see the lower frame rates effecting the game.
