With home media computers finding their way into many people's living rooms a need for high-powered hardware in smaller form factors is on the rise. Sparkle has answered the call for more power in a smaller size with their low profile sized GTS 250 nVidia GPU graphics card. OCZ Agility 2 SandForce-based 60GB Solid State Drive @ Pro-Clockers

Today we will be taking a hard long look at one of OCZ's newest solid state drives based on the Sandforce 1200 controller. The Sandforce controller has lately been getting its fair share of reviews and good press due to it's impressive read and write numbers. According to Sandforce, both of which can be as high as 260MB/s! The new OCZ Agility 2 60GB model advertises even better read and write of 285MB/s and 275MB/s, respectively. With the asking price of about $170, performance and cost is fast becoming affordable.

Crucial C300 256GB SSD Review @ KitGuru

KitGuru loves SSD’s – and with small affordable units hitting the market such as the excellent Intel X25-V 40GB and the upcoming Corsair 40GB Force there has never been a better time to take the plunge. Many of the new performance units feature the SandForce controller however the model are looking at today from Crucial features a Marvell 88SS9174 BJP2 controller – thanks to an exclusive partnership between the companies.

SilverStone HDDBoost Review @ BURNED iN

That's exactly what SilverStone is hoping to make possible with its HDDBoost, a seemingly ingenious device that allows you to combine the capacity of a hard drive with the performance of an SSD by fusing the two together. The end result is a home brewed hybrid drive, one that relies on RAID 1 to take advantage of the strengths of both. Admittedly this all sounds good on paper, but what happens when the rubber meets the road? Good question, and we aim to find out.

Samsung NB30 Netbook Review and Teardown - BCCHardware

The first thing I really liked about the NB30 is the removable keyboard. After removing a couple screws from the bottom of the netbook you will be able to easily remove the keyboard and replace it if need be. This might not be a big deal to most people, but if you use this netbook enough to wear the letters of the keys, or if you accidentally break a key off you'll appreciate the fact that you can easily get a replacement keyboard and replace it yourself in under 5 minutes.

G.Skill Phoenix Pro 60GB Solid State Drive Review @ ThinkComputers

We reviewed our first SandForce-based solid state drive about a month ago and since then the SandForce drives we have checked out have either been 120 or 128GB drives. While these are nice drives many people still cannot afford them. Today we will be looking at a 60GB drive that is based on the SandForce controller. The 60GB size is perfect for most systems as you can fit most of your programs and operating system on the drive then just use a regular SATA drive for all your media and other things. The 60GB size is also great for upgrading your laptop’s hard drive. Let’s check out the G.Skill Phoenix Pro 60GB Solid State Drive.

Asus GeForce GTX 460 Review by Ultimate Hardware

Asus GeForce GTX 460 uses the GeForce GTX 460 GPU at 675Mhz and has 768MB GDDR5 memory running at 3600Mhz. The Asus GeForce GTX 460 has a 192Bit Memory Interface, 336 Shader Processors and DirectX 11. The MSI GeForce GTX 460 is faster than the Asus GeForce GTX 460 but how much faster is it and is the Asus GeForce GTX 460 good value for money?

ASUS M4A88TD-V EVO/USB3 Motherboard @ Benchmark Reviews

The AMD 880G Northbridge and SB850 Southbridge are two of the latest bits of chipset silicon designed to bolster AMD's position in the mainstream PC market. They were released about a month apart this Spring, as part of a full line of 800-series chips, and ASUS wasted no time putting them into production. Key items that help make the M4A88TD-V EVO/USB3 motherboard stand out are native support for SATA 6Gb/s, USB 3.0, and AMD's latest game changer, the Phenom II X6 CPU. With both Core Unlocker and Turbo Unlocker functionality built right into the board, this combination could be the magic ticket to dynamic-clocked, quad core processing on the cheap. Benchmark Reviews is pleased to review one of the latest ASUS motherboards, using the latest entries from AMD's new 800-series chipset.

ATI HD 5550 Video Card @ TechwareLabs

Multi-monitor gaming was thought to be reserved for those who can afford massive setups, fortunately ATI has released a sub $100 card that can dish out multi-monitor gaming for all of you that want in on the action but don't want to spend the big bucks to do it.

StarCraft II Performance Benchmarks: 6 DirectX 11 Video Cards Tested @ Hi Tech Legion

All the video cards tested produce more than acceptable frame rates at both resolutions; the ATI versions could only be ran using in game settings. The NVIDIA versions via the NVIDIA control panel have the ability to force Antialiasing (AA) and Ansitropic Filtering (AF), being able to manipulate AA and AF increases "Eyecandy" which smoothes, enhances image quality and filters the overlay of the video being rendered.
