Gonna sell my old 6800 GT setup and some other parts. Question is, will this card work on the nForce 4 for Intel? Specifically, the Asus P5N32-SLI? I know it'll work for the 590 SLI, but how about the older one?

The answer is... it depends. I think your specific board is ok. This page will tell you everything.

No doubt the card will work, but that's not really the question you should be asking yourself. You are replacing a 6800GT, not a 6800 Ultra, so you got a step down from the previous top of the line. If we follow that line of thinking with the 7950GX2, then the real question is, do you really need a 7950GX2? They are fast cards, no doubt, but at lower resolutions, you won't often tell the difference between a 7950GX2 and a 7950GT, or even a 7900GT. And thats a pretty big cash difference. If you have a monitor capable of high resolutions (1280x1024 should be considered a minimum gaming resolution for the GX2) then you won't be dissapointed in the GX2, but if you have a 19" LCD, chances are your limited to 1280x1024 and would get a similiar experience from a 7950GT.

Got to agree from experience. I went from a 6800GT to an ATI X1900XTX and didn't see much difference simply because my LCD can only do 1024x768. I know I need to upgrade it, but I'll worry about that when my budget improves.
