Not to even mention DX 10.1 will require Vista SP1..

Glad I didn't buy into DX10 yet.

This is the same as with DX 9 though, while a current DX 10 card won't fully support DX 10.1 features, you can still run a DX 10.1 game on a current DX 10 card. This has happened over and over again in the past, so it is nothing new. And needing Vista SP 1 doesn't matter anyway since you need Vista for DX 10 to begin with. Not getting SP 1 if you run Vista would just be stupid.

Then again, considering there isn't a single DX10 game out still (not including DX9 games with DX10 patched in for a little more eye candy).

I don't think anyone has to worry about DX10.1 games for quite a while.

This is more or less exactly what I was going to say.
This is normal, there is nothing to worry about. It will take years before the DX10.1 feature set is used in games... at least to any real extent.
