I wonder if the RV670 warrants the generation jump in the naming scheme.

I was thinking the same thing. Meanwhile, I'm not sure what nVidia is working on... I know they are going to push forward the launch of their cards to meet with ATi.

I have a feeling though that ATI is going to fall short again, as far as gaming performance is concerned. That is unless Nvidia drops the ball big time.

i think speed isnt that important. i wont something that will be more affishent so that they can run it cooler and not so noicy.
