Tip on how to easily know if your OS is 32/64 bit

I get asked this by friends all the time, so I figure this would be handy for some of you. If you do not know if your version of Windows is 32 bit or 64 bit, without searching through Control Panel (I think this is with all Microsoft operating systems) is go to your C: drive and look for a folder called Program Files (x86), which is where 32-bit programs in a 64-bit OS would go. If you don't see that folder, you are already running 32-bit.

Yes, you can poke around the control panel or download CPU-Z, but this is the quickest way.
