Virus on external hard drive

I have very important data on my external hard drive, but it has 3 viruses. Two of them are trojans and one worm. I can see the data on the drive, but can't access. I don't want to format the hard drive, because my data is very important. I purchased this external hard drive last month from buy.com through dealrocker.com discount deal. Can anyone help me to remove the viruses and get back the data? BTW I tried many ant virus softwares, but had no success.
