Every time I try to play Jedi Knight 2 or Warcraft III, after a few minutes of playing the game just freezes up and a horrible noise comes out of the speakers. I have to hit the reset button on my computer to fix it.
Any ideas what the problem could be? I've tried about 6 different detonator driver versions to see if that could fix it but it doesn't.
My specs are:
1.2 ghz athlon t-bird
kt133a chipset mobo
256mb pc-133
msi gf4 ti 4200 128 mb
I fried my mobo and i'm going to be getting a new one. This one is said to not have problems w/ the sound blaster card. The new mobo i think im gonna get is the Epox 8k3a it seems to be good and inexpensive. Unless you have any other suggestions i think i'm going to be going with that. Also, my power supply fan is broken so i need to replace that as well :(
