To stress test the memory we ran version 3.0 from a boot CD. The memory was tested at both the Fast setting on the Epox board and also the Turbo settings. Also to test how high the RAM could go both default (2.57v) and 3v (3.05v) were used. A warning that overclocking will void your warranty, so do so at your own risk.
To test the improvements that the overclocking of the memory gave, we ran the Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast timedemo at 1024*768 with all details at maximum expect for Anisotropic filtering (disabled) and no Antialiasing was used. We also tested DVD-DivX conversion using XMpeg 4.2a and DivX 5.02, using 8555 frames (VTS_03_2.vob) from the DVD of "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" (NSTC). For synthetic tests we used SiSoft Sandra Standard version 2002.6.8.97 and the DOS based test of which SiSoft's memory test is based.
