MSI FX5200-TDR128: The GeForce FX 5200 series falls under the same price point as its older brother, the GeForce MX upon first release, but nVidia learned from their mistakes, and the FX 5200 looks to be a real option for budget gamers.

Unreal Tournament 2003, 4xAA, 8xAF

Unreal Tournament 2003 is proving to be a real burden for the MSI FX5200-TDR128. It does alright at 1024x768, but struggles at the higher resolutions. This is also noticable during gameplay, as my system, at 1280x768, stuttered when somebody began shooting in my direction. With 4xAA and 8xAF, things got much worse as it was near unplayable with these settings enabled. Let's see how it does with Quincunx and 4XS AA...

Unreal Tournament 2003, 4XS, 8xAF

Unreal Tournament 2003, Quincunx AA, 8xAF

AntiAliasing performance here is close to 4xAA. 4XS certainly looks a little better, though performance drops accordingly. I've always complained about Quincunx being somewhat blurry, though it doesn't take as much of a performance hit as 4xAA.
