3DMark 2001SE @ 1024x768, AGP 4X

At the 3DMark 2001SE defaults, the MSI TI4800SE turns out a fairly impressive score that is clearly lacking behind the Radeon 9500 Pro. Keep in mind that the Sapphire 9500 Pro retails for roughly the same price as the MSI TI4800SE. I didn't bother doing tests of the card at overclocked speeds simply because I doubt the 10 MHZ of overhead will help at all.
3DMark 2001SE @ 1024x768, AGP 8X

Turning on AGP 8X yielded very little improvement in the 3D Mark 2001SE score, with the TI4800SE gaining just 249 additional points with the help of the new technology. Overall, I am happy with the score garnered by the TI4800SE in the older Direct X 8 benchmark. Let's see how this card does in the newly-released 3DMark 2003.
Quake 3 Arena
Long in the tooth, old, yet still one of the most popular games out there, let's see how the Ti4800SE tackles Quake 3 Arena. It should be noted that Quake 3 Arena is an OpenGL benchmark and gages real-world performance, whereas 3DMark 2001SE is a synthetic benchmark that gages Direct3D performance.

1280x1024 @ AGP 8X

Once again, the Ti4800SE performs admirably, but still lack behind the Radeon 9500. We also see that even in non-synthetic benchmarks, AGP 8x is utterly useless. Next we get jiggy with it and make the card scream using HardOCP's UT2003 benchmark.
