Operating system related?
I have Win XP installed in my system. I had to reinstall XP as it was hanging. Now when I start the system, there are two instances of Win XP which appears on the screen, one is the old one and the other one which I recently reinstalled. How could I remove the old one from the opening screen?

Which option is the correct one? The first or second? If the first option, the default entry is the one you want (e.g. when the boot menu comes up, if you can leave it or just press enter without having to move the selection up or down to get to the correct one) then you can -
Right click My Computer on the desktop, choose Properties. Advanced Tab, Startup and Recovery - click the Settings button. Time to display list of operating systems: set it to 0/Uncheck the box Alternatively, or if it's the second option you need, then - Right click My Computer on the desktop, choose Properties. Advanced Tab, Startup and Recovery - click the Settings button. Click the Edit button and you should see something similar too -
