In the spirit of getting to know each other better, why not tell a tale about how you came about with your forum handle, or if you use your real name, a story about a nick name you may have. Try to keep it clean.
My alias came about when Quake 3 hit the scene. I already had a handle, Rocket Catcher, in Quake 1 and 2, so I felt I needed a change for Q3. I originally came up with...
1) Snake Dude
2) Rattle My Snake
3) Beach-Viper
I was pretty much laughed off most servers, so I needed something scarier. Since Beach-Viper was my last idea, I switched the beach for Sand, making it scarier. I dropped the hyphen eventually, and added the ! in place of the i to make it 1337.

Mines from Quake III Arena as well. At the time I had just got onto the internet, so getting an online game to play was quite a task, when I finally got online i was laughed off the server as you would anyone called "UnamedPlayer"
So i had to think quick about a name. Looking around I saw a can of Lynx Deodarant, of the Voodoo variety. Voodoo sounded good i thought, bonus being theres bound tot be lots of peeps called Voodoo, easy enough for me to "blend into the background" with my shoddy skills.
But then I started to improve and make friends, so I began to type my name as VoOdoO just to help distinguish myself from all the other Voodoo's. Plus it looks "1337"er

Umm mine is a name I made up for use on MUDs (Multi-User Dungeons), found out later it roughly means Eater of Life in the Drow (dark elves) language. I've been using it everywhere for about 6 years so I'm happy with it :P.

My nick came from my drug dealer. I better explain. I hate child-proof caps on prescription containers. I always told the druggist to use "adult" caps. About 3/4 of the time I got the kiddie lids. After numerous complaints, they finally got it right and I always got adult lids. Imagine my surprise when I examined a new script one day with the proper lid and saw that they inserted "EZlid" as my middle name. Has a good laugh.
About the same time, I changed ISPs and was trying to come up with a new user name and all the ones I wanted to use were taken and I don't like user manes with a slew of numbers after it. I remembered the "EZlid", tried it and no one had it before me. So I am ezlid. Simple, short and EZ to remember.

VD has friends! What is this world coming to? My name I got from when I use to work out. My arms were really big (long long long time ago,now the stomach is big hehe) So thats why I use BIGGUNS. But SV and VD can call me BG cause I like you two. I am in a clan of h0m0s and g0at loving bishs. The two I love to beat up on are VD and SV....there is nothing better then killing them on line. If you have not please try it, its loads of fun.

Well, the drecko part is derived from my actual last name. When I took Spanish classes (yeeeears ago) one of my friends jokingly called my 'El Drecko' in analogy with 'El Jefe' and such. It stuck, and I use it consistently for online stuff.
It also has the added bonus that 'dreck' means 'trash' or 'rubbish', which I am, at Quake3

i think mine is probably the lamest... nothing to do with anything computer-related at all... well sort-of.
when i was still in school i was working hard in our lab on a massive coding project. i had my headphones on and the music loud and was totally absorbed and utterly unaware of the world around me. someone wanted my attention and waited patiently for me to turn my head or something but it wasn't happening, so finally he poked me in the ribs and i let out this sound like "eep". after that everyone called me meep.
