good call, quite a few examples out there that have been tuned (few parts upgraded), putin out over 500hp.
be nice to find a good condition gnx model. (wasn't it the quickest domestic production car made in the country that year?) even blew the vette away from what i understand. i want to say the tuner was mclaren, but i'm not sure.
must be a good engine though, buick designed the 231cid (3.8litre) in late '70's (1978 i believe it was released) and it's still used today. abeit it's now the 3800 series 2 and it's had a major revision, but they musta did something right.
