SiSoft Sandra 2007 CPU

SiSoft Sandra 2007 MMX

SiSoft Sandra 2007 Memory

The algorithms and methods have changed since the last version of Sandra, so these numbers with the 2007 version are quite different. In each test, the Abit AW9D-MAX holds a significant lead over the ASUS board.

PiFast

It's pretty much a dead lock here, with a slight 0.02 second lead held by the Abit AW9D-MAX.

CDeX

The results are fairly close between the two boards, with a 4 second advantage for Abit. The gap can widen though with a larger music file, so something to keep in mind.

TMPGEnc

Like the CDeX test, the results are close, but not as close as one may think considering a larger file can make the difference more apparent.

Photoshop CS2

This is a CPU and subsystem killer, and given our lack of experience, we cannot comment much on where the setups stand in the grand scheme of things. Between the two test boards, we can see that the Abit AW9D-MAX holds a small lead over the ASUS in this test.
