Like the Winstone tests, the KV8 Pro finishes on top of the other two boards. It is close between the KV8 Pro and K8N, but not so with the KV8-MAX3.

PiFast

The KV8 Pro comes out ahead of the other two again in PiFast, clocking just over one second faster than the nForce 3 250 Gb, and just under a second faster than the K8T800.

Another close match here, with the KV8 Pro two seconds faster than the K8N Neo.

TMPGEnc 2.521

The KV8 Pro cracks the 4 minute mark here, something we were unable to do with previous K8T800 pro boards, and scored the best times we've seen using an Athlon 64 3200+.

As we've seen in the past, the VIA chipsets tend to score better in the gaming benchmarks when compared to the nForce 3. This trend continues with the K8T800 Pro.
