SiSoft Sandra 2007 - CPU Arithmetic

SiSoft Sandra 2007 - Memory

SiSoft Sandra 2007 - Multimedia

When we tested the MSI board, one thing we did notice is that when it came to memory, it was certainly a performer. As you can see it sits behind both Asus boards as Asus have also been tweaking the memory on their P35 series. CPU scores are much closer but still favour the Asus boards, which is only natural considering the difference in chipsets. The Multimedia results naturally reflect the composition of the two previous tests; the Asus Blitz Formula puts in some high numbers, just slightly ahead of it's sibling and for the most part quite a way ahead of the 650i based MSI board.

PiFast

PiFast shows results the favour both the Asus P35 boards, as expected, with the Asus Blitz Formula statistically superior although in reality the difference is quite minimal. Still, every little bit helps.

CDeX

As with any timed test, any difference seen here will only be multiplied as the time/size increases. The Blitz Formula is a second faster than the 650i, and draws with the P5K.

TMPGEnc

The Asus Blitz Formula is once again neck and neck with the P5K and faster than the 650i. The MSI board does exceptionally well when it comes to memory performance, although it is no match for the P35's.
