SiSoft Sandra 2007 - CPU Arithmetic

SiSoft Sandra 2007 - Memory

SiSoft Sandra 2007 - Multimedia

When we tested the MSI board, one thing we did notice is that when it came to memory, it was certainly a performer. As you can see it sits behind the Asus board as Asus have also been tweaking the memory on their P5K which easily opens up quite a gap. Do bear in mind that the P5K is a newer chipset however. CPU scores are much closer but still favour the P5K and the Multimedia results naturall reflect the composition of the two previous tests; the Asus is a performer in this Synthetic test and really opens up in Floating Point operations.

PiFast

PiFast shows quite a difference which is a little surprising; I expected the numbers to be closer, but none the less the Asus board clearly takes this one.

CDeX

As with any timed test, any difference seen here will only be multiplied as the time/size increases. Again, the P5K takes the lead, but 1 second in our test.

TMPGEnc

In this test, the Asus P5K Deluxe pulls ahead by two seconds, no doubt due to it's performance with memory.
