In all of the test's these two motherboards are running neck and neck, with slight wins here by ECS and slight wins there by Foxconn. Overall, I would consider the results to be close enough to be considered identical.

This number is astounding when you look at previous reviews. The Delta is extremely large from previous generations of CPU. I, however, digress... Once again, both systems are literally on top of each other.

TMPGEnc MPEG Encoding

Once again, absolutely amazed at the C2D performance when compared to previous CPU's tested, unfortunately, we are not here for C2D performance reviews. The tests are so close, it's hard to tell which is which.

DVD Shrink

DVD Shrink is a common application used to backup your own DVD's from DVD-9 to DVD-5 size. This is a heavy test on the CPU / Memory / HD communication. Once again both motherboards when paired with a C2D give a very impressive and close performance.
