Business Winstone 2004

Content Creation Winstone 2004

Not much to point out with the standard Winstone benchmarks. All the drives performed closely with each other, with the RAID-0 setups taking center stage, but not by too much. The Barracuda 7200.7 performs on par with the 10 000rpm Raptors.

SYSMark 2004 Office

We can see the large jump from the Barracuda V with the Barracuda 7200.7, but in a RAID-0 configuration, the jump is not as dramatic from a standalone configuration.

Multitasking with Business Winstone 2004

Here we can see NCQ flexing its muscle. When running a series of multithreading tasks, the Barracuda 7200.7 has a significant lead over all the other drives, performing much like a 200MHz CPU upgrade.
