In the narrow corridors of the ep1_c17_02a map, both cards were equally able to handle some of the fast paced close quarters combat. Once we stepped into the upper warehouse with the gunship blasting the ceiling, the X1900 became noticeably slower than the 7900 GT. Unlike the X1900, the MSI 7900 GT never dropped below 40fps.

I never really paid much attention to HDR until I started playing Episode 1. It really does a lot to immerse a player into the game, plus it looks fantastic.

Neither card had any problems at all playing Madden 2006. The X1900 and 7900 GT both stayed near the 60fps mark, dropping down only a few times as players filled the screen.

The game itself isn't very challenging graphically, so feel free to bump up the image quality.

Despite the relatively low average framerates, the gameplay itself wasn't bad with the X1900 and 7900 GT. The 7900 GT did feel smoother during the boss battle and never dropped below 25fps.

There isn't a big difference between the hardware platforms, even upon closer examination. I do find the AntiAliasing a little smoother and less washed out on the 7900 GT than on the X1900, despite both using the same AA level.
