The
8800 GTX is more consistent here than the MSI 8800GT in our Heat
Ray run through, though we didn't feel that performance was all
that different during gameplay. Performance on the 8800GT was
solid and with all the effects on.

Quality

Despite
"only being a DX9" title, the graphics are very impressive.
The MSI 8800GT was playable right up to our monitor's maximum
1920x1200 resolution. We weren't able to up all the quality
settings to maximum at this resolution and maintain consistent
framerates, but we were able to do so at 1680 resolution.

Both
cards provided a similar experience. We were able to play with
all the effects set to high and maintain playable framerates.

Quality

While
the graphics are not as spectacular in terms of effects as
the first two games we've tested, this version of Call of
Duty is the most graphically intense thus far. The fire and
smoke effects are very good and with the MSI 8800GT, we were
able to play at good quality settings at high resolutions
without turning the game into a slide-show.
