Both products were certainly playable, but as the graph suggests, the experience was far smoother on the MSI NX8800GTX. There were no drastic dips in framerates, and while it's impossible to have identical runs in BF2142, we actually had more fire fights and mech battles on the 8800 card.
Image Quality

Graphically, both the 8800GTX and 7950GX2 provide identical image quality in the game. Both cards support the same in-game features as well as supporting the same resolutions, so there is not really any edge here other than the performance. As with our experience in Battlefield 2 and the ATI X1900XTX, the AntiAliasing was cleaner on the 8800GTX, and the colours were a bit smoother as well.

The 7950GX2 is a high performing piece of hardware, but the 8800GTX is just that much faster. The NX8800GTX never dropped below 80fps, and averaged 140fps.
Image Quality

We maxed out the in-game settings here, so if you choose the NVIDIA CP's AntiAliasing settings, you can further smooth out the picture quality without suffering much of a performance hit.

Another near 100% jump in performance (average) for the 8800GTX over the 7950GX2. Looks like NVIDIA wasn't too far off of their claims of double the speed after all.
Image Quality

Despite being a fairly modern title, the graphics technology is fairly dated, so the MSI NX8800GTX will not really provide any features we cannot already reproduce with a previous generation card. Main advantage again here is more speed and a smoother gaming experience.
