Battlefield 2

Battlefield 2 was not kind to ATI at all, coming
in at almost half the framerates across all the settings. Keep
in mind we equipped the system with 2GB of ram and in our Corsair
XMS2-2048 review recently, we pointed out that for some strange
reason more ram benefits NVIDIA hardware in this game. Neither
ourselves or Corsair have an explanation at this time, but this
"issue" seems to affect the high-end video cards as
well as the budget ones.
Far Cry v1.3

Another excellent showing by XFX in this shooter.
Considering the price, there's very little to complain about,
though 1024x768 is the sweet spot for both AA/AF on and off. The
chart is somewhat misleading as it appears 1280x1024 is nearly
as smooth as 1024x768, but the truth of the matter is we did suffer
a lot of dropped frames in the more intense battle scenes.
Unreal Tournament 2004 v3355

A relatively old game, both the X600 Pro and XFX
6600 have no problems with Unreal Tournament 2004 at 1024x768.
Things start to take a nose dive for ATI, though it does remain
playable up until 10x8 with 2xAA and 8xAF. The XFX 6600 meanwhile
was able to maintain above 65fps across all our test settings.
Half-Life 2

In what is the general trend for the day, the X600
Pro obviously cannot keep up with the XFX 6600. AA and AF should
be kept off though as the 6600 does choke a bit. The strider appearance
in "Follow Freeman" was quite the framerate killer with
those IQ settings on. Also, 1024x768 is as high as we would go
if you want minimal framerate loss.
