New PolarFlo waterblocks coming!

I just received an email from PolarFlo in response to a question as to when the 865/875 mounting clips would be out. Well it looks like there isn't going to be a mounting kit for the current blocks. As you are all know, PolarFlo is a relative newcomer to the watercooling scene, although they have made a big hit with the PolarFLO Universal CPU Water Block SF and the VGA/CS waterblock. Not only do they work great, they also look good with multiple colors and even plated in Copper, Chrome or Gold.

No worrys though, PolarFlo is coming out with a new/updated set of waterblocks, The TT Series. I have asked for more information and as I get it I will forward it on. I am looking forward to getting my hands on these and seeing how they perform.

Bah! I was talking with one of my writers today about it. It's a shame cuz their last blocks were some of the best we have used.

I've got several sets of the PolarFlo SF CPU & VGA/CS waterblocks. The *only* complaint I had with them was the lack of a mounting system for the intel 865/875 chipset. From the email I received it looks like th new TT series will allow for more/easier mounting soulutions.

I have high hopes that PolarFlo will outdo themselves and will put out a product that will live up to their debut product.

Some graphs are up at PolarFLO showing Performance Data for the current CPU coolers and the new TT line.

The TT looks impressive if these graphs hold up in real-world applications. The performance at low-flow looks like a great imnprovement over the SF series.

I love my polarflo CPU and GPU blocks, my only complaint with the CPU block is the barbs are so close together, if you use thick walled tubing getting clamps on it was a bitch.

Edit - Pics up at PolarFLO! These look awesome!

Gawd, I want to see these in the other colors - I also want to pull this puppy apart and see the construction.

Now - back to our previous message...

Yah, I have the 1/2" barbs and have found that installing the center hose first is a must with the CPU block. I also went with the sightly thinner walled tubing and used coolsleeves to prevent kinking.

A great place to get tubing is

I picked up Tygon 1/2" ID 5/8" OD tubing for $1.85 a foot, Item #5114K29. A steal at this price.

It's right in line with the DangerDen products - so if the performance is as good or better than the current PolarFLO blocks I'm all over these. These are dead sexy.

Danger Den - TDX&RDX Block Intel Socket 478 Price: $52.95 + $6.00 for the brass top.

PolarFLO TT Series CPU.

"The PolarFLO TT CPU is the latest in pc water cooling technology. We bring you the best performance at much lower flow rates and at high flow rates. The new design is fully comprehensive and future proof. We decided to take a more feature-rich and performance approach with the TT Series. The features this series offers is unprecedented. The PolarFLO TT Series CPU block is a simple two part design. If you can change the batteries in a flashlight, you can service a PolarFLO TT CPU. The main body of the block rotates to relieve stress and deflection on hoses. All the components are available individually. You can take apart the new PolarFLO TT CPU to clean, modify or interchange parts. The PolarFLO TT CPU uses the PolarFLO TT Series Posi-Seal Barbs and Plugs. These Posi-Seal barbs and plugs are easy to interchange. You can get the PolarFLO TT CPU in a 2 port or 3 port configuration. The low profile design will fit into the smallest cases and with the low flow performance, you don't have to worry about your pump-life. The new PolarFLO TT Series CPU water block is the first in the series, which will be the most professional, high-quality, and top performance series available."
