Once again the packaging is designed with a see and want approach, and once again it was the hardest part to contend with! After I had finally got into the packaging I was presented with 16 small blocks, 8 of copper and 8 of aluminium. The sinks themselves are quite small (22mm x 8mm x 5mm), which should increase the mounting possibilities, as teaming 2 or more onto larger chips will be possible.

To my mind, the aluminium sinks appear to be of a higher quality. There perfectly symmetrical and perfectly formed into CoolerMaster's chosen design. The copper versions are a bit more "rough around the edges" although that is more likely due to the properties of copper compared to aluminium.

On the rear of the sink CoolerMaster has provided Thermal Conductive double-sided tape so installation is just a peel and stick affair.
The sinks have been "cooked" in an 80-degree oven before shipping to ensure that they won't fall off after sticking. Just to make doubly sure, CoolerMaster have also put them through a standard OEM 75G Shock Test. As long as you make sure the surface you're sticking to is clean, they shouldn't ever come off.

Although CoolerMaster calls these ramsinks, there's no reason why you can't use them in other places, such as on the Southbridge of your motherboard, or perhaps the mosfets around the CPU. Basically, anywhere you think might need some extra cooling (or some basic cooling to begin with) these sinks can be used.
