Left 4 Dead 2 – DirectX 9
Settings: 1920x1080, 4xMSAA, 8xAF, Very High
Left 4 Dead 2 benefits a little from the extra boost provided by the Turbo X card, but it's quite minimal, both in the averages and in our timed graph above. Left 4 Dead 2's frame rates can be quite variable at times due to the random nature of the game, but suffice to say, neither card had any trouble here.
Assassin's Creed 2 – DirectX 9
Settings: 1920x1080, 4xMSAA, All options reduced to highest, DX9
You can run comfortably at a native 1080p with both cards here, however the Turbo X card produced consistently higher minimum frame rates, which are the most telling in game. Assassin's Creed 2 can be pretty unforgiving on graphics cards, and you really do need a big boost between cards to see a difference, so whilst the averages show that once again the HIS Turbo X card is the faster card, it's not noticeable in game unless there is a lot going on screen; at that point the Turbo X provides a better experience with higher minimum FPS..
