HIS 6950 IceQ X Turbo X 2GB Graphics Card

Aliens vs. Predator Benchmark – DirectX 11

Settings: 1920×1080, 2x MSAA, SSAO On, 16xAF, Highest Benchmark Settings

For this test, whilst the graph lines don’t seem to be all that different at first glance, there is in fact a decent difference between the comparison cards. Our average frame-rate jumps up by a solid 5 fps, and it takes our minimum frame-rate above the 30 FPS point, albeit by a single frame.

Colin McRae’s DiRT2 – DirectX 11

Settings 1920×1080, 8xMSAA, Ultra, DX11

Like many DirectX 11 games, the differences between 2 cards can be minimal, regardless of the actual performance differences. However there is a difference to be seen. That said, while Dirt 2 was at one point quite a challenge under DirectX 11 for a single card with a single display, even at highest settings both cards here handle things very well indeed. There is easily plenty of room for Eyefinity and subsequent drops in eye candy to accommodate the extra large resolution, without having to dumb things down completely.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Call of Pripyat Benchmark – DirectX 11

Settings: 1920×1080, No MSAA, Extreme Levels, Tessellation On, DX11

Once again the HIS 6950 IceQ X Turbo X 2GB Graphics Card sits atop our standard card with higher frame-rates right across the board.
