When Corsair earlier this year announced its partnership with CoolIT, it at the same time also announced a follow-up to its popular H50, the H60. At first glance, the H60 looks simpler in design to the H50, but with an entirely rethought inside, featuring a split-flow design with micro-channel cold plate, that's not the case at all.
Patriot's Torqx 2 128 GB SSD is based on the less-well-known Phison PS3105 flash controller which is a cost effective alternative to more expensive controllers from Indilinx or SandForce.
Corsair hit a home run in the latter half of 2010 with the release of their Vengeance 12GB 1600mhz kit. Buyers on Newegg raved about the stability of the kit, and the ability to run the Cas9-rated sticks at Cas 8. While this is something that would not impress most RAM overclockers, it did seem to put a smile on a lot of mid- to high-level PC users. Corsair seems to want to follow up their success with the recently released 12GB 2000Mhz version of the Vengeance ram with a slight difference. This kit claims to only need 1.5v to run at their rated 2000Mhz speed. Many other 2000Mhz kits recommend 1.65v to perform this feat. Being able to run high performance RAM at lower voltage settings without giving up performance would pique the interests of almost any PC user. Today, we are going to see how well the new Vengeance kit stacks up against other 2000Mhz kits currently on the market, and if the modules can deliver competitive 2000MHz performance while only requiring less juice than the competition.

In this review we will be looking at a slightly different high performance DDR3 memory kit from Kingston called the HyperX KHX2133C9AD3X2K2/4GX. The name may be long but rest assured this is a 2133Mhz DDR3 memory kit with a CAS rating of 9 designed for the Sandy Bridge platform.
What we have here at APH Networks is the G.SKILL F3-10666CL9D-8GBSQ 2x4GB dual channel set, which is pretty much the same thing as the model represented by the long string of digits and letters I have just mentioned, except it operates at DDR3-1333 rather than DDR3-1066. Knowing DDR3-1333 is now the standard memory speed for all second generation Intel Core mobile processors, for an extra five bucks at press time, is this really the kit to get? We installed a set into our brand new, Sandy Bridge based Lenovo ThinkPad T420 laptop to find out.
You may remember the '2133MHz kit' that we looked at back in June from Kingston which received our gold award due to its speed,'performance' and great overclocking potential and with the 1600MHz kit that we are looking at today breathing the same essence, we can only hope that we have another gold award to give out.

One of the key selling points is that the MC001-BD Entertainment Center is completely passively cooled, and therefore silent. This alone will pique the interest of many enthusiast users who want a noiseless, yet capable media system for the bedroom or living room.
Yesterday, at the De Vere West One conference centre in central London, the folks from Epic ran a single day, game development training session called Unreal University. KitGuru was on hand to chat with the Unreal people about Unreal subjects. Unreal!
