The Rage Theater chip provides DVD playback functionality

MMM&Infineon

The Radeon 8500 comes equipped with eight 16 MB Infineon BGA memory chips. Infineon has become known with PC enthusiasts as a manufacturer of high quality RAM. Corsair uses Infineon chips on many of their modules.

Connectors for everything, even a Cappuccino machine (Just Kidding)

Here we see the VGA, S-Video and DVI outputs. The included connector will let you convert the DVI connector so that it can be used with a VGA monitor in dual monitor situations. The S-Video connector comes in very useful if you want to connect your PC to a TV for video gaming or movie watching. If you don't have an S-Video input on your TV, don't worry; ATI includes a converter that will let you use the Video-in cable on the back of your TV or VCR.

I think ATi has covered all of the bases when it comes to packaging and presentation. The included connectors are all you should need to get started and the Half Life bundle rounds out the package quite nicely. Why don't we put this bad boy in our test machine?
