2011 has certainly been the ‘Year Of The Solid State Drive’, with many manufacturers vying for sales in various, competitive sectors. Today we are looking at the new Samsung 830 Series 512GB SSD which embraces the SATA 6 Gb/s interface, claiming speeds up to 520 Mb/s read and 400 Mb/s write. Is this drive capable of going head to head against the latest Sandforce powered 2281 units? Today we aim to find out.


The Sapphire 6670 HD Low Profile video card may not be so different when it comes to the technical specifications, compared to other 6670s on the market. However, the Sapphire low profile HD 6670 is a gem in its own right, being the first low profile single slot solution in its market segment. The core clock speed is set at 800MHz, while the memory speed is set at 1000Mhz. and has 1 GB of DDR5 onboard memory. The 6670 comes with 480 stream processors and a 40 nm chip.
